I play Ingress, which according to wikipedia is described as "an augmented reality massively multiplayer online role playing location-based game created by Niantic Labs." although my wife describes it somewhat differently.
It is a very social game, where 2 teams travel around to places, capturing ‘portals’ and making ‘fields’, some of the larger operations require lots of planning and lots of people to undertake. It also sometimes involves taking 3 hours to pop down to the shops for some milk.
I thought it would be cool to make some embroidered hoodies to wear while playing, so we got to work and created a range of ingress embroidery including the game logo, and the logos of each team, together with a special Australian version of the Enlightened team logo.
